Kari Samantha (born on April 28 in 1967) Wuhrer is an American actor and singer. She began her acting career when she was in her teens. She was best known for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as for playing the character of the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. There are three of her siblings. While she was a kid she sang in nightclubs, and then went on to perform. After attending the Wooster School, at 13 years old She began her studies in acting. Later, she attended the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University, Marymount Manhattan College at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, with the renowned instructor Uta Hagen. Wuhrer was a student. Born on the 28th of April, 1967 and was raised in Brookfield, Connecticut. Her mother is a payroll accountant, and her father, German-American, is a police officer as well as a auto salesman. Kari's children are three. When she was in her teens performing in nightclubs, she was able to make a name for herself in secret, escaping to do so. Kari was 13 years old when she started acting courses at Wooster School. Later, Kari enrolled at Tisch School of the Arts in New York University. Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College. Kari was introduced to acting at 13, and she got her big break in 1987 when she appeared on MTV Remote Control.
