Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu is an American voice actress, producer and singer. She's a beautiful, intelligent actress who inspires numerous Asian actors to make it in Hollywood. After a series of appearances in popular TV series her name was a household name when she was cast on the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she portrayed Ling Woo. She translated her newfound fame into roles for the big screen with Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels and other films. She then delivered a superlative performance in the role of Japanese crime lord O-Ren in QT's Kill Bill Volume 1. She also played leading characters in failed box office films such as Rise: Blood Hunter. After that, she started to voice prominent characters in animation films such as Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason's tiny screen role in Cashmere Mafia did not produce the desired results. Southland - a critically acclaimed crime-drama - established Liu's status as a top actress. Liu has a lot of care when choosing her roles to ensure she isn't a victim of stereotypes. She's acknowledged her Chinese heritage, however she has not let them restrict her creativity.
