Mischa barton was born 24 January 1986 in Hammersmith, the United Kingdom. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. She has also appeared as a character in The Sixth Sense a movie filled with suspense. The suspense film The Sixth Sensation. which she starred in was a hit TV series. The O.C. was a massively popular TV series that she starred in. with Benjamin McKenzie who played her love interest. She as her lover. Barton had her first TV appearance in 1994 when she played the young Corvina in flashbacks to the soap opera All My Children. She was replaced by Michelle Trachtenberg, who had played Lily Benton Montgomery in the show. Katie Singer was guest-starred on eight episodes on the T.V. series Once and Again, as Jessie Sammler's (Evan Rachel Wood) lover. The year 2001 saw Barton make her film debut with Lost and Delirious, an independent Canadian drama based on Susan Swan's novels The Wives of Bath. Barton received praise for her performance as well as that of Piper Perabo. Julie Johnson (2001), with Lili Tayet as well as Courtney Love, saw her as the daughter of an affair with a lesbian woman. Barton played a part as a support actor in 2001's independent film Tart which starred Brad Renfro and Dominique Swain. Comaneci received her honors in the year 1996, when she was inducted into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame. In 1999, ABC News and Ladies Home Journal named Comaneci among the top 100 women of the 20th Century. Comaneci and Olympic Champion Bart Conner had a son Dylan Paul in April 1996. Comaneci also has been involved with a wide range of charities, serving as a member of the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association board of directors and Laureus Sports For Good Foundation.
