Mischa was the daughter of the rich and famous Mischa Barton on the 24th of January of 1986. In Hammersmith England, United Kingdom. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. She also appeared on screen in The Sixth Sense a thriller. The O.C. which she starred in was a cult TV series. The O.C., a popular TV series on which she played. Barton made her first television appearance in 1994 as the young Corvina in flashbacks of the soap drama All My Children. Barton replaced Michelle Trachtenberg, who had appeared as Lily Benton Montgomery in the series. In 2001, Barton returned to acting, and was a part of the independent Canadian film, titled Lost and Delirious. It was based on her Susan Swan novel The Wives of Bath. Romanians were thrilled to welcome her home with a sense of pride. Comaneci's Olympic medal count increased to nine after four years competing in the Olympics in the year 1980. Comaneci was admitted to the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame, and ABC News named her one of the greatest female athletes in the 20th Century in 1999. Comaneci along with Olympic champion Bart Conner had a son Dylan Paul in April 1996. They run a range of companies that are related to gymnastics which include Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. Comaneci has also been involved in various charities as a member of the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association as well as Laureus Sports For Good Foundation Board of Directors. She has also continued to give back to dozens of charitable causes in her homeland of Romania which includes those at the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital in Bucharest.
